Cellulite!

It makes you cringe doesn't it? There are more creams, lotions, pills, and procedures for cellulite than anything else I can think of. And rightly so, because it can be a pretty nasty picture for those involved. In fact I experienced one of these situations first hand, and I was not impressed. Let me interpret a little...

I happened to be training some clients in a big market gym one day about a few years back, and I had the unpleasant contact of overhearing a group of young girls nearby, snickering about someone else woman's 'cottage cheese arms' as she was on the Elliptical Trainer.

Of course, these girls were about 18 or 19 years old, and didn't even have a clue of how much courage it took this woman to even show up at the gym, let alone try and work out while this type of garbage was going on behind her back.

It's so disheartening to me when I see citizen production a honest hard attempt at trying to get change their life, and they are met with this type of garbage.

Unfortunately, it's all too common.

Instead of giving these girls a lecture, which would have been a waste of my time and energy, I approached this woman after I had concluded working with my client and commended her on her hard work.

I told her that I saw how much attempt she was putting into her workout, and that I was very impressed. I mentioned that I would be proud if all my clients worked that hard when I wasn't there.

She laughed, and we started talking about her progress. Turns out, she had lost close to 80lbs over the course of the last year - a great accomplishment!

However, she stated that she was now facing a new problem. After losing all that weight, she found that she was experiencing more than a comfortable number of sagging and jiggling skin.

Upon added discussion, I discerned that she had concentrated roughly entirely on cardiovascular rehearsal and caloric restriction in order to lose her weight, with very small attentiveness devoted to serious power training.

The ensue was what she referred to as "muscles like jelly", with no tone or firmness at all. Even worse was the fact that cellulite had nothing else but increased under her arms, a qoute that was particularly embarrassing for her.

She had traded one curse for another.

I spent the next half-hour showing her some vital power training exercises to help her start toning and defining her arms and upper back. She thanked me for my time, and we parted ways.

A month or so later I saw her again when I was on my way out the door of the gym. She stopped to thank me for my advice. She had implemented the exercises that I showed her, and was getting some astonishing results. Her cellulite was melting away, and her arms were leaner, firmer, and showing some great definition.

What this example illustrates, is the all to coarse misjudgment that most women make when it comes to ignoring power training in their fat loss program.

This can be one of the most devastating problems in a fat loss program.

You Must start toning your arms while you lose body fat. Ignoring this step could risk production your qoute even worse than it is now. However, by adding some targeted strengthening exercises into your training program, you could start sculpting and defining your arms in a matter of days.
